Wings Over started in 1999 with a simple promise – serve the best chicken wings and tenders, and make customers happy. That promise helped us grow into a cult favorite with over 30 locations.

But over time, we lost our way. Our tenders weren’t as juicy, our wings weren’t as crispy, and our flavors weren’t as magical – and you, our fans, noticed. We broke the promise that made Wings Over special.

In 2024, three longtime superfans, who fell in love with Wings Over back in college, stepped in to turn things around. We began by bringing Wings Over back to its roots – focusing on the food, the quality, and the unforgettable flavor.

We obsessed over every detail, spending thousands of hours in the kitchen working on recipes and testing new ingredients and suppliers. We worked every station in the store, examining every step, every process, and every detail. This wasn’t just about fixing a business – it was about saving something we loved.

Now, we’ve improved our recipes so our tenders are juicier, our chicken is crispier, and our flavors are bolder than ever. We’re also bringing back the quality – our chicken is fresh and made-to-order, so every meal is hot and crispy, our flavors are powerful, with something for everyone, and our dips are made fresh in-house daily. Because that’s what our fans deserve.

Today, Wings Over is back. Our amazing chicken is back. Our fantastic flavors are back. We’re back to winning awards (♥ Athens, Columbus, and Happy Valley), and we’re back to helping our fans create perfect, messy, unbelievable memories. We know there’s still a lot of work to do, but we can’t wait to soar higher than ever with you.
