A Human Resources Manager at Wings Over will be responsible for managing all recruiting and development initiatives for our teams at Wings Over locations across the country. The ideal candidate will have a highly analytical mindset, strong work ethic, extreme attention to detail, and a desire for continuous process improvement, in addition to working well across departments and forming relationships throughout Wings Over to facilitate initiatives.
Founded in 1999, Wings Over set out to serve the best chicken wings! Since then, Wings Over has grown to over 40 locations across 13 states.
In 2017, Wings Over was acquired by four friends who set out to revitalize and re-imagine what Wings Over could be. Dan, Kevin, Mike, and Raunak, worked with their Wings Over Ithaca team to develop the future of Wings Over, “Wings Over 2.0”.
Wings Over has always served great food, but in addition, Wings Over now also believes in fostering an environment for their amazing crew to succeed, creating a focused menu with higher quality offerings, and developing new spaces and resources to allow for one-of-a-kind experiences.
A Human Resources Manager at Wings Over will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Wings Over culture, talent acquisition, talent development processes, and training programs for Wings Over locations. The ideal candidate will have a high degree of professional maturity, growth mindset, and entrepreneurial spirit. Key competencies required in this role include: An abundance of leadership and team building skills, excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization and follow through, strong administrative skills, adaptability, resourcefulness, and eye for even the smallest details.
Day in the Life

Identify needs in current restaurants and forecast needs for new restaurants
Manage recruitment posts across different platforms
Manage the applicant process
Screen and interview applicants
Coordinate further interviews with our different teams
Manage the on-boarding process
Manage the training process
Help build our culture
Come up with innovative ways to reach potential talent

Nuts and Bolts | Must-Haves
4+ years of team building and management experience
2+ years of recruitment strategy and project management experience
Legal US work authorization
We typically work from 10am-8pm in the office, Monday - Friday. Saturdays and Sundays and usually considered days off; however, we often times need to be flexible with weekends to accommodate tasks. We ask that you remain accessible even on weekends or evenings if needed. Sundays are typically sanctuary days but recommend that a portion of the day be used to wrap up anything that may have slipped during the week, or plan for the upcoming week.
We have a mutual 1:1s we execute weekly. This is your time. There will be an outline to make sure you are receiving the support and feedback that you need. We will also focus on career development and mutual feedback.
